Winston Wisdom

Winston Churchill is one of the 20th century’s most iconic leaders and orators. During the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940 Churchill was particularly inspiring and instilled the spirit of resiliency into the British people.

It was Churchill himself who coined the name, Battle of Britain”, in a speech he made to the house of commons in June 1940. He made countless speeches throughout his reign as prime minister from 1940 to 1945 and quotes from his speeches continue to live and inspire people from all nations who love liberty and freedom.

Recently I came across an article published on the website ammo.com overflowing with quotes from Winston Churchill. The quotes are thought-provoking and inspiring and are as relevant today as they were then.

These quotes can be viewed in the Ammo.com article at this link:  Winston Churchill Quotes: Quotes by Sir Winston Churchill – the British Bulldog (ammo.com)
